In his inaugural speech, congressman-elect Legarda said that he had entered a new milestone in his life from private citizenship to public servant. “it is my fervent desire to work on a central theme that would guide me in the coming three years. And that is unity and continuity. There’s a saying that goes, ‘in unity, their strength’. In order to achieve strength for our province, we must unify and involve the three most important sectors of our society. We must unify the government, the private sector, and of course, the people.”
Meanwhile Sen. Legarda swore in as senator-elect with Punong Banrangay Macario Bagac of Brgy. Mag-aba, Pandan as her administering officer.
Meanwhile, remaining elected officials from the north district are expected to conduct their inauguration tomorrow in Culasi. (PIO LAVEGA)
