The Provincial Government of Antique under the administration of Governor Rhodora J. Cadiao received a  Paglaum Award during the 2017 Division Awarding Ceremony search for Brigada Eskwela Best implementing  schools cum partners’ day celebration held at Belison National School last September 29, 2017.
 This PAGLAUM (Partners Pursuing Active enGagement and LinkAging Undertakings for Millennials) award  recognizes the invaluable support and dedicated service to Antiqueño children through sustaining DepEd’s  programs and projects and active involvement in the 2017 Brigada Eskwela.

 Governor Cadiao said that the provincial government of Antique will continue to support DepEd programs and  projects.
 She also believes that organize and clean school environment will help students to gain more knowledge and to become a successful individual in the future.
The schools from different districts of the province also received an award. The Brigada Eskwela best school implementers in Elementary level small school category-- champion Gua Elementary School, Barbaza District. Medium School Category --champion Malabor Elementary School, Tibiao District, 1st runner-up Dao Central School, Tobias Fornier District, 2nd runner-up Anini-y Central School, Anini-y District.
In the Secondary level, medium school category --champion Mag-aba National High School, Pandan District, 1st runner-up Diclum National High School, Tobias Fornier District. In Large School category champion --Belison National School, Belison District, 1st runner-up Sibalom National High School, Sibalom District, 2nd runner-up Antique Vocational School, Bugasong District. Mega School category -- champion Northern Antique Vocational School, Culasi District.
According to Dr. Victor G. De Gracia Jr. Assistant Regional Director, DepEd Region VI, four (4) schools of the province will compete at the regional level. These are Belison National School, Gua Elementary School, Malabor Elementary School and Northern Antique Vocational School.
