The Civil Service Commission Antique Field Office headed by  Vizur-Ty C. Gaitano in partnership with the Council of Human Resource  Management   Practitioner of Antique (CHRMPA)  headed  by Diovanne-Silverio E. Amedo together with the  Philippine Red Cross – Antique Chapter held a bloodletting   activity in connection with the celebration of the 117th  Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service  with a theme: “Tugon sa hamon ng pagbabago: Malasakit ng lingkod bayani” last September 29, 2017 at the DepEd Division Office Binirayan Hills, San Jose, Antique.

It was attended by employees of the different Local Government Units (LGUs) as well as professionals and students alike.

This annual activity was held for three consecutive years every September in which government employees are encouraged to have at least five representatives from each department or office to participate in the said event.

“We continue to do this activity to help those who are in need, Blood is an extension of life and by donating blood you are extending the life of those who need it. This will also maintain the availability and sufficient supply of blood for everyone who needs a blood transfusion.” Amedo said.

The Civil Service Commission Antique Field Office and The Council of Human Resource management Practitioner of Antique (CHRMPA) is a two-time awardee of the Regional Sadugo Award that honors the excellent performance in the implementation of voluntary blood services program in their respective localities.
