One hundred four Tunong-Dunong scholars from Saint Anthony's College (SAC) received their scholarship grants on August 9 to the tune of twelve thousand pesos (P 12,000) covering the two semesters of this school year.

Governor Rhodora J. Cadiao, together with Mr. Rexon C. Nodque, officer-in-charge of the Provincial Youth Development Office, distributed the grants.

The governor, in behalf of Sen. Legarda, reminded everyone to study hard. According to her, it was self-fulfilling to see the satisfaction in the faces of the Tulong-Dunong recipients.

The said scholarship program is funded by Senator Loren Legarda and facilitated by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Rev. Fr. Edione Febrero, SAC President, gave a brief message to the students, reminding them to do their part of the bargain by doing good in their studies in appreciation of the financial assistance given by the government.

Furthermore, the Provincial Youth Development Office expressed their acknowledgment to the faculty and staff of Saint Anthony's College for their cooperation in giving students financial considerations while the grant was still being processed.
