Generally, the Philippines is an open economy in which it allows foreign ownership in almost all sectors and supports a Build-Operate-Transfer scheme.  The province also supports Public-Private Partnerships for efficient and effective investments. 

Financial Institutions

As of 1998, Antique has a total of eleven rural banks, five private commercial banks and three government banks: the Development Bank of the Philippines and Land Bank of the Philippines have branches at San Jose de Buenavista and Culasi, Antique.
