Children from different schools expressed their rights while holding balloons as a manifestation of their rights during the launching program of the Children's Month, last November 7.

As part of the program, the schoolchildren along with Gov. Rhodora J. Cadiao, SP Egidio Elio and other personalities, released a number of balloons showing their support for the protection of the rights of every child. With the Monday morning program was the Oath taking of the newly reorganized Provincial Council for the Protection of Children (PCPC).

Gov. Cadiao messaged, that "It is our responsibility to ensure their safety, good health and proper development."

The month-long celebration was coordinated by the Child Friendly Moment (CFM), composed of different agencies in the province, and is lined-up by a series of activities both for the children and the women in society, with regards to the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW). These activities were: Presentation of the State of Children Report: Pasindungug sa mga Young Achievers. Advocacy on RA 8353 "Good Touch, Bad Touch", and Family Development Session.
