Cong. Javier led the induction of Pupil Government and PTA Officials
San Jose, Antique - Antique’s young solon inducted into office the Supreme Pupil Government and the Parents & Teachers Association (PTA) Officials of the Delegate Angel Salazar Jr. Memorial School on July 19, 2010.
In his inspirational message, Congressman Paolo S. Javier told the pupils, parents and teachers that like him who was elected into office must fulfill their obligations and responsibilities entrusted to them.
San Jose, Antique - The Province of Antique joined the nationwide celebration of the 32nd National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week 2010 on July 23 with a theme “Sa Istructurang Accessible Lahat ay Able.” The celebration aimed to boost the morale of the Persons with Disability (PWDs) in the country and to strengthen the programs and services for the PWDs.
In a program held at Diosdado Macapagal Trade and PromotionCenter, Tradetown, Dalipe, San Jose de Buenavista, Mayor Rony L. Molina said that in San Jose he is initiating the distribution of Person with Disability (PWD) identification card to ensure that PWDs in San Jose can avail discounts in their purchases in different business establishments.
“If business establishment refuses to grant discounts you may come directly to me to complain so we can make appropriate action,” Molina told the PWDs.
“I am encouraging those who are not yet member of PWDs to coordinate now with your MSWD for you to be members of your organization so you can easily avail the services intended for you,” added Molina.
